CELSI ep2 monitor sniffs into the communication of an ep2 server with its clients, gathers statistical data and measures durations of sessions. This data is made available for authorised clients for viewing on their browser. The application server needs only a small library and a few lines of code to embed an observer. The observer then handles all necessary communication with the monitor. The monitor itself is typically installed on a separate server, where the clients have access to.

Minimal Requirements of Ressources

• Runs on a separate server.
• Needs only minimal ressources of the application server.
• Easy to embed into any Java application.
• Does not require a database.
• No impact on the application, if the monitor is down.

No Impact on PCI Compliancy:

• Uses only data, which is free for transfer through public network (makes no use of encrypted data).
• All card data is removed entirely from the messages before they are used.
• Stores accumulated statistical data only.

System requirements for servers are a standard business computer with Java Run Time Engine installed.
Clients need only a browser and access to the internet.
